A society in which the biggest manufacturers (GM, Ford, and Chrysler) want to be rewarded for making products that no one wants to buy

yes, I agree shoes is what we need.

Not so good idea, it seems:
Around 2,500 jobs are to go at embattled Barratts and Priceless shoe group Stylo, administrators have announced.-

Barratts and Priceless are not manufacturers.
You related to manufacturing(of things that people need or not, hence buy or not), not to sellers (of manufactured goods).
Production is possibly connected with retail, but is not the same thing (I don't think you need lecturing in this, still...)
*allways look at the smilies too*

I can't disconnect from my food chain

you possibly feed on GM, Ford, and Chrysler?

shoes taste better
(but not chinese shoes)
-
- 19/02/09 @ 19:08:40
but they don't last as long
-

great(quality) shoes do sometimes last longer than GM, Ford, and Chrysler products.
-
- 19/02/09 @ 20:55:54
so you still have those great shoes from the 80s?
-
- 19/02/09 @ 21:20:58
I don't have such old shoes of my own actually, my most 'great' shoes are my 'Debütantin'-shoes from Wiener Opernball (which are quite new), but I have here the Debütantinnen shoes of both my Ma and Grandma (of very known shoe designers)...
nice to find someone of the other gender willing to talk about shoes
-
- 21/02/09 @ 00:27:46
and what makes you think i'm of the other gender?
-

would you mind (please) deleting my above comment about my shoes, otherwise there will be still more ladies on here hating me (because of my shoes, of course...)

-

why? I like your comments about shoes. It's the first time in my blog that shoes appear
justgrrl
GM, Ford, and Chrysler should manufacture shoes for girls!
(and we would buy all of their products... instead of shoes with toxic leather from... China)
