Regardless, the details are not important as it is not important why Jews consider so many places as holy, even when we know that they have nothing to do with Jewdaism (Kin David, Rachel, etc)

Anyway, while I feel that a great deal of the hatred against Israel has historical roots going back to the 'Jews killed Jesus' still modern Israel does everything in it's power to show how little it cares about international public opinion. So if they act if they don't care about it, they should not complain that they are not particularly liked.

In other words, if you don't care about shit, don't complain when shit hits you.
You ask why and no apparent logical explanation seems to surface. The hatred you see is blind and for most part baseless- this is a result of years and years of brainwashing in the muslim world and to some extent (at least in the past) in the churches. To prove my point, go interview young muslim kids who learn to hate Israel and Jews before they learn how to read. Why you ask? Because they grow in a very hateful environment. I remember when I was a kid (I'm Jewish) and my school organized a function with arab kids and they came to our class and kept looking at our heads. One of us asked why you keep staring at us like this? The answer was "we are looking for your horns".
Muslims really like to ignore many basic facts: Muhammad never stepped in ISRAEL. It was not a holly place during his life time. Even in the Quran Israel is considered as the land of the Jews, promised by god. Israel represents less than %1 of the middle eastern territory yet somehow Muslims claim that if they had this tiny piece of land all troubles will be gone. Consider what Israel has contributed to the science, arts and culture since the 18th century, particularly in the 20th cnt. from that tiny land- then compare it to what the arab muslims have contributed. Make your own conclusion.

In response to:Iceland, terrorism and the emergence of racism

You can really save a lot of your time and energy for finding the lender of loans for the unemployed, is one of the quickest loans which approved with in few hours.
Dropping out to do nothing except waste your life - agree with you.

Dropping out because school is a damaging and toxic environment that is not fulfilling your educational requirements and then educating yourself to a standard at which you can run a business and/or do anything else you wish to achieve in the world - seems like a good choice to me - and my son made that one.

Teenage pregnancy because you are an air head who wants 'something to love you unconditionally' and a flat, money from the social and an 'exotic personal life' - agree with you.

Teenage pregnancy because made an uncharacteristic mistake but you are determined to be a good mother, make a good life for yourself and the baby and refuse to have an abortion because it is something against your moral conscience - seems like not so bad a choice and although it didn't happen to me as a teenager it was a 'there but for the Grace of God go I' piece of luck that it didn't.

But really the way the UK is going, isn't the criminal anti-social lifestyle choice the one that appears to be the desirable one?

We left the country eventually because we felt unwanted as a hard working honest honourable family in the UK and because every time we needed the infrastructure to support us - it made it very clear that it favoured liars, cheats, and criminals every time.

You seem like a very bright person - why would you want to choose to live in the UK when you can live anywhere else in the world?

An Israeli (ex) president is accused of rapes, and the legal system refuses to judge him, what would you have said if a Palestinian were to quote is as an argument against those who support Israel.
In response to:Why do we hate Israel so much

Although the things you say are true, they are only part of the truth. For example

1.	There were no Palestinian people before the PLO was established. But there were no Israeli people before 1948. Why do you consider it differently? Still in the 19th century, there were more Arabs than Jews in Palestine. So I find that any numerical argument is weak
2.	It’s true that many Arabs moved to Palestine illegally during the British mandate. But many Jews entered the land illegally during the same period. Why do you look at one more morally right than the other?
3.	While the inherited refugee status is a unique occurrence. The same can be said about Jews getting Israeli citizenship based on their religion alone regardless of where they live or where they were born.

Now in your very answer I see some of the reasons why people hate Israel:

1.	Not trying to understand what I said, but focusing on what you think I said, led you to believe that I hate Israel, this is wrong. However, if you always assume that someone hates Israel just because he raises a question, without trying to understand what he really says or thinks (which is an attitude I often found amongst Israelis), does not help to make Israeli liked
2.	Also, ‘feeling sorry’ for me because I have not seen the truth it is very patronising. This is one of the big problems of Israelis. You don’t start a discussion as if I were an intelligent and informed person, but rather treat me as if I were ignorant, if not stupid, who has no knowledge of the facts, and cannot make his own mind. Arrogance does not help make Israelis popular
3.	It is true that you know many who got killed. And this is very painful, and you may want to have the world sympathise with your pain. But will you acknowledge the pain of the Palestinians? After all do you recognise that a mourning Palestinian family suffer just as much?

I don’t think that Israel should be hated for a situation that has no solution. But definitely, if Israel attitude is to make it clear that they don’t give a shit about what the world is thinking about it, then Israel can’t complain that the world doesn’t think what Israel hopes it to think.
